Life does not always give us an easy path. Sometimes, we have to face challenges, prove ourselves and keep moving forward even when the journey feels difficult. Parvathy A. R. is someone who has chosen to keep moving forward with courage and determination.

Hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Parvathy has created a unique identity through literature, sports and humanitarian service. His journey is not only about awards and achievements, but also about hard work, self-belief and the desire to do something meaningful for society.

A Passion for Literature

Writing has been an important part of Parvathy’s journey. He is the author of the novel “Verittoru Pranayam,” which was officially released by Padma Shri Lakshmikutty Amma.

His contribution to literature has earned him several recognitions. He achieved the India Book of Records for literary excellence and received the Novelist Award from Shanthigiri Ashram during the Smriti 2026 Annual Meet.

He has also been honoured with a Special Recognition Award by YMA Library, presented by Shri M. A. Backer, and a Special Recognition Award from Vithura Grama Panchayat for his contribution to literature.

For Parvathy, writing is more than just putting words on paper. It is a way to express thoughts, emotions and experiences and connect with people.

His Journey in Sports

Along with literature, Parvathy has a strong passion for athletics.

He qualified through the Thiruvananthapuram District Championship in Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Discus Throw and also competed in the Kerala State Athletic Championship held in Kozhikode.

His love for sports has also encouraged him to guide others. He works as a Sports Trainer, mentoring children through the summer camps of Janani Arts and Sports Club.

For him, sports are not only about winning medals. They are about discipline, confidence, teamwork and learning to never give up.

A Heart for Humanity

One of the most meaningful parts of Parvathy’s journey is his involvement in humanitarian and social service.

He has served as the Kerala State Coordinator of D NE Empowerment Foundation (Mumbai), Vice Chairperson of Athmikaranam Charitable Trust, Vithura, and District Executive of Samarpanam Charitable Trust, Kumarakom.

His dedication to helping people has also been recognised through the Cancer Care Volunteering Award, honoured by former MP and former KPCC President Shri V. M. Sudheeran.

He has also received the Humanitarian Worker Award, presented by retired DMO Dr. P. Skandaswamy Pillai.

These recognitions reflect something important about Parvathy’s personality — he believes that success becomes truly meaningful when it can also bring happiness, support and hope to others.

A Story Built on Determination

Parvathy completed his schooling at Government V & HSS, Vithura and later acquired professional knowledge in Computer Applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Over the years, he has developed strengths in leadership, public speaking, social service, sports training, creative writing, community development, motivation and mentorship.
