Before the Achievements, There Was the Struggle

Today, Prarthana is an author, educator, content strategist, researcher and animal-welfare advocate. She is the author of the Amazon bestseller Reflections at 24, and the Founder of Pro Business Hub and Geo Dharma Education & Consultancy.

On paper, these are achievements. Behind each one are long days, demanding schedules, setbacks and the difficult task of building a future while still managing the present. There were periods when work, studies, teaching, writing and learning had to coexist with very little rest. Yet the work continued.

For a significant period, Prarthana travelled approximately four hours every day for work and studies. Instead of allowing those hours to disappear, the commute became time for thinking, learning, planning and, sometimes, simply enduring.

Prarthana would at times sleep just for four hours. The routine was exhausting, but it carried a larger principle: difficult circumstances should not be allowed to dictate the size of a person's ambition.

The commute was four hours. Sleep could be four hours. But the ambition was never limited to four hours.

When the Internet Was a Challenge

The railway-platform story says something a list of qualifications never could.

Among commuters, arriving trains and station announcements, Prarthana would sit with a laptop, connect to free Wi-Fi and keep working on a future that nobody else could see yet.

It was not glamorous. But great beginnings rarely look great while they are happening. Most people see the final photograph; very few see the difficult frames that came before it.

Failure Came Too

Some plans failed.

Some opportunities disappeared.

Some efforts produced results far below expectations.

Over time, failure became less frightening. Instead of asking only, “Why did this happen?”, the questions became:

What went wrong?

What can this teach me?

What needs to change?

What can I try next?

Failure stopped being a verdict and became information.

The dream of becoming an author brought another painful setback. Two publishers turned out to be scammers. For a first-time author, that could easily have been the end of the story.

Instead, Prarthana chose another route: self-publishing.

Rather than waiting for someone else to give permission, the decision was made to create a path forward.

That book became Reflections at 24 and eventually became an Amazon bestseller.

The lesson extends far beyond publishing: rejection is not always a stop sign. Sometimes, it is a detour toward a road that belongs to you.

A Mind That Refused to Stay in One Box

With an academic foundation in Economics and a Master's degree in the field, Prarthana's work expanded into finance, equity research, investment banking, financial modelling, digital marketing, SEO, content strategy, research and emerging technologies such as generative AI.

Interests in philosophy, yoga, Buddhist thought and education added further dimensions.

These disciplines are not separate worlds.

Economics asks how systems work.

Business asks how value is created.

Education asks how knowledge is transferred.

Philosophy asks why it matters.

Together, they shape a broader approach to knowledge and purposeful work.

Teaching Before Building

Long before entrepreneurship became a central part of the journey, there was teaching.

Prarthana began teaching at a young age and has since mentored and taught 1,000+ students.

For Prarthana, teaching is not only about delivering information. It is about helping another person see possibilities they could not see before, a difficult concept becoming clear, a learner gaining confidence, or someone beginning to believe that a goal might actually be possible.

Prarthana supports animal welfare and participates in feeding animals for free on a daily basis.
